The Chicago Marathon Health & Fitness Expo annually hosts more than 175 exhibitors featuring the newest designs in running gear and shoes, as well as the latest developments in sports, fitness and nutrition. In addition, the Expo is the home of Participant Packet Pick-Up for all 45,000 marathon runners. Held at Chicago's McCormick Place, the two-day Expo is free and open to the public.

Lake Shore Dr., but that address is not useful for parking or GPS guidance devices.

Expo Exhibitors
More than 175 exhibitors featuring the newest designs in running footwear, apparel and accessories, as well as the latest developments in sports, fitness and nutrition will be in attendance at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Health & Fitness Expo.

Participant Packet Pick-Up
Packet Pick-Up includes:

  • Bib Number
  • Timing Device
  • Nike Technical Shirt
  • Participant Bag

Packet Pick-Up is located at the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Health & Fitness Expo, McCormick Place. All packets must be picked up at the Health & Fitness Expo during regular Expo hours. Packets are not available for pick up the day of the event and packets will not be mailed to participants.

Participants must present their Confirmation Ticket or Confirmation E-mail along with a photo ID in order to receive their Participant Packet and Participant Bag. If a participant is unable to attend the Health & Fitness Expo, someone else can pick up their Participant Packet. The person picking up a Participant Packet on behalf of a friend must present that person's Confirmation Ticket or Confirmation E-mail and that person must also present his/her own photo ID.

Free Expo Shuttle Service
Free Shuttle Bus service to the Chicago Marathon Health & Fitness Expo will be provided to and from the five locations listed below:

  • Downtown: Hilton Chicago, 720 S. Michigan Ave. (8th St. entrance)
  • Roosevelt: CTA Red Line Stop serving Red, Orange and Green lines, State St. & Roosevelt Rd.
  • Magnificent Mile: Niketown, 669 N. Michigan Ave.
  • Fairmont: Columbus Dr. & Wacker Dr.
  • Sheraton Chicago Hotel & Towers: 301 E. North Water St. & N. Columbus Dr. (next to Shula’s Steakhouse)

Buses will operate between 8:30 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Friday, October 8 and 8:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 9. Last pick-up time from the Expo will be at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

CTA Transit Directions
Chicago TransitFrom Jackson Blue or Red Lines or from the Adams/Wabash Brown, Green, Orange, Pink and Purple Express Line station, walk east to Michigan Avenue and board a southbound #3 King Drive bus. Buses run every 8 - 15 minutes.

Or, transfer from all CTA rail lines serving downtown to a southbound Dan Ryan Red Line train to Cermak-Chinatown station. Transfer to an eastbound #21 Cermak bus.

Driving Directions to McCormick Place Parking Lot A
A discounted rate of $10 (regular rate is $19) will be available to all Expo attendees on Friday, October 8 and Saturday, Octoer 9 at Parking Lot A.

From O'Hare International Airport (22 miles), Northwest or the North:
Follow I-190 East to I-90 East. This turns into I-90/94 East (Dan Ryan Expressway). Keeping to the right, follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

From the West:
Take I-290 East (Eisenhower Expressway) to I-94 East (Dan Ryan Expressway). Keeping to the right, follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

From Midway Airport (10 miles) or Southwest:
Take I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

From the South or Indiana via I-80/94:
From I-80/94, exit at I-94 West (Bishop Ford Expressway) and proceed on I-94 West (Dan Ryan Expressway). Follow to I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

From Indiana-Skyway:
Take I-90 West (Indiana Tollway turns into the Chicago Skyway). Merge onto I-90/94 West (Dan Ryan Expressway). Exit at I-55 North (Stevenson Expressway). Exit at Martin L. King Drive (Exit #293D) and follow signs to Lot A entrance ramp located immediately to your left.

From North Lake Shore Drive (US-41):
From Lake Shore Drive, exit at 31st Street and turn right (West). Turn right again on Martin L. King Drive. Turn left on 24th Place. Follow signs to Lot A.

From South Lake Shore Drive (US-41):
From Lake Shore Drive, exit at 31st Sreet. and turn left (West). Turn right on Martin L. King Drive. Turn left on 24th Place. Follow signs to Lot A.

From Congress Parkway:
From Congress Parkway, turn right onto Michigan Avenue Proceed south to Cermak Road. (E. 22nd Street). Turn left on Cermak Road, to Martin Luther King Drive. Follow signs to Lot A.
